Happy New Year + Funky & Vintage Crimbo Cards

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2016
May this year bring you and your family lots of
good health, safety, happiness and lots of creative ART.

Hi ya, wow 2016 how did it get here so quick?  Today I am bringing you the last of the Christmas cards that I made.  I also have a few step by steps for the vintage background.  The funky cards were done with the masterboard I made HERE which includes a step by step as well.  All the products I used will be listed at the bottom of the page :-).
I would like to enter the following challenges :-
Frilly and Funkie Challenge - Holiday Hues  (vintage cards I made for Christmas)
Simon Says Monday Challenge - Winter Wonderland (the vintage blue card best describes winter lol)
That's Crafty Challenge - Anything Goes
Stamps and Stencils Challenge Blog - Grungy Christmas
Love to Create Challenge - Anything Goes Mixed Media

These are the vintage cards (close ups and step by step of background
further down).  I also did a green background but it didn't get used so
it's been put away for next year :-)

The leaves are from the Alterations thinlits Fall Foilage,
the red card had green leaves with red splashes of Perfect Pearl Mists and Faber
Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel, the brown card started with brown leaves and
the blue was with white glitter card leaves.
The wood is from Calico Crafts.
The background is a mix of texture paste, stamps, distress stains, inks, sprays
and Perfect Pearls mists.  Decoart crackle paste just slapped in the middle.

Here are the more funky cards all used with Paperartsy paints and stamps.

Could've sworn I'd seen and commented on these funky beauties (think Blogger may be up to its tricks again) - they really are fantastic, with so much detail and fabulous texture. You'll probably not be surprised that the neutral browns are my favourite!
